MSC Education Holdings, a leading education institution in South Africa, is committed to making dreams a reality. In partnership with the W&R Seta, MSC Education Holdings recently announced an exciting opportunity to award 70 Bachelor of Business Administration in Management (BBA) bursaries under their esteemed group. However, with overwhelming demand, the institution decided to open up an additional 500 bursaries, resulting in a total of 570 available opportunities for promising individuals.
This initiative aims to provide predominantly unemployed individuals with access to higher education and create pathways to success. MSC Education Holdings utilised various social media platforms and networks to promote the bursary announcement and reach those who need the opportunity the most.
The selected students will receive 100% sponsored bursaries and an entry-level netbook to enable electronic work. The MSC BBA degree, registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), is delivered via the distance mode of delivery and offers a 360 credit qualification pegged on NQF level 7.
Over the course of three years, the MSC BBA degree will equip graduates with a well-rounded understanding of all aspects of business, empowering them to move up the value chain and between different sectors of the economy. Graduates will have the necessary knowledge to work in any business or start their own entrepreneurial ventures. Additionally, the program includes a strong leadership component that aims to develop future leaders who can positively impact their communities.
Although online and distance studies can be challenging, all students will have access to an online tutor to provide the necessary support and guidance throughout the program.
As Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” MSC Education Holdings and W&R Seta are putting Mandela’s words into action by investing in people and making a difference on a large scale.
